Welcome to Tennessee Time Machine. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use
of TennesseeTimeMachine.com (the "Site") and the audio tours, content, and products we offer.
By using the Site or purchasing one of our tours, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree,
please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Tennessee Time Machine is a Tennessee storytelling brand operated by Nashville Adventures,
LLC, based in Nashville, Tennessee ("we," "us," "our"). We create GPS-activated self-guided
audio tours and related content celebrating Tennessee history and culture.
2. Audio Tour Purchases
Our audio tours are sold and delivered through VoiceMap, a third-party platform. When you
purchase a tour, your transaction is processed by VoiceMap and is subject to VoiceMap's own
terms of service, privacy policy, and refund policy, available at voicemap.me. We do not process
payments directly through this Site and are not responsible for the VoiceMap platform, app
performance, or payment processing.
If you have an issue with a tour purchase, contact VoiceMap support first. You are also welcome
to contact us and we will do our best to help make it right.
3. Using Our Tours Safely
Our audio tours are self-guided experiences that take place on real streets, sidewalks, and
public spaces. By using our tours, you agree that:
You are responsible for your own safety at all times. Stay aware of your surroundings, obey all
traffic signals and laws, and do not use headphones at a volume that prevents you from hearing
traffic or hazards.
You will not operate a vehicle while interacting with your phone. For driving tours, a passenger
should handle the device, or you should set up the tour before departing.
Routes may pass through areas with uneven pavement, construction, crowds, or other hazards.
Conditions change, and we cannot guarantee any route is free of hazards.
You take our tours at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for
any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our tours.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site and in our tours, including audio recordings, scripts, narration, text,
artwork, logos, maps, photographs, video, and the Tennessee Time Machine name and brand,
is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may use our content for personal, non-commercial enjoyment only. You may not copy,
reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, record, resell, or create derivative works from our content
without our prior written permission.
5. Accuracy of Content
We work hard to make our historical content accurate and well researched. However, history is
layered and sources sometimes conflict. Content is provided for entertainment and educational
purposes, and we make no warranty that all information is complete, current, or error free.
Business names, hours, landmarks, and routes referenced in tours may change over time.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site or our tours for any unlawful purpose, to trespass on private
property, to harass others, or to interfere with the operation of the Site. Tour routes follow public
rights of way; please respect private property, businesses, places of worship, cemeteries, and
memorials along the way.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including VoiceMap, social
media platforms, and partner businesses. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or
practices of any third party.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and our tours are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind,
express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and
non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or
that GPS-triggered audio will function perfectly in all locations, on all devices, or in all network
conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nashville Adventures, LLC and Tennessee Time Machine,
and their owners, employees, and contractors, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any personal injury, property damage, or loss
arising from your use of the Site or our tours. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the
amount you paid for the tour giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nashville Adventures, LLC and Tennessee Time
Machine from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising
from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or our tours.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Purchases made through VoiceMap
are subject to VoiceMap's privacy policy.
12. Children
Our tours are family friendly, but the Site and tour purchases are intended for adults. Minors
should use our tours only with the supervision of a parent or guardian.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the
most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance
of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of
law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal
courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.
